Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has split from his wife Giannina the youngest daughter of World Cup legend Diego Maradona.
She is believed to be now living permanently in Madrid with their son Benjamin, 3.
Giannina, 23, confirmed the break-up on Twitter.
She said “we’re separated” and added it was “a difficult year” and “there’s been a lot of changes”.
Aguero, 24, has remained tight-lipped over his four-year marriage and newspapers in Argentina reported they had rowed over her party lifestyle.
But he has also been linked to Argentinian singer Karina Tejeda, 26 but she denied a romance with the £35million star.
