Kanu Heart Foundation N5b Specialist Cardiac Centre Fundraiser

The legendary footballer will hold his foundation's fundraiser this Thursday March 14th at the Congress Hall of the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja. Time 5 pm.

Kanu is trying to raise $35 million (N5 billion) to build a Cardiac Specialist Hospital that will offer free surgery services for children from 1-12 years while adult patients will be highly subsidized.

Covenant University: Student Expelled for Watching Pornography Drags School To Court

An expelled student of Covenant University, Ota, Ogun state has dragged the institution to court, challenging his illegal expulsion over allegations of watching pornography and secular music on his laptop.

The student, Vwamhi Longji Felix, stated that before he was expelled his parents had spent not less than N10 million on his school fees and other expenses. He was a 400 level student of Communication Technology reportedly expelled on 23rd November 2012, following a night raid by the Student Affairs’ Unit of the institution. This was followed by his appearance before the school’s disciplinary panel which recommended his expulsion.

Manchester City Star Sergio Aguero Splits from Diego Maradona's Daughter

Manchester City star Sergio Aguero has split from his wife Giannina the youngest daughter of World Cup legend Diego Maradona.

She is believed to be now living ­permanently in Madrid with their son Benjamin, 3.
Giannina, 23, confirmed the break-up on Twitter. 

She said “we’re separated” and added it was “a difficult year” and “there’s been a lot of changes”.
Aguero, 24, has remained tight-lipped over his four-year marriage and newspapers in Argentina reported they had rowed over her party lifestyle.
But he has also been linked to Argentinian singer Karina Tejeda, 26 but she denied a romance with the £35million star.

Rihanna Upsets Fans By Posting a Pic of Marijuana

Rihanna is no stranger to controversy lately, and this time it’s not about getting back together with Chris Brown! The singer is under fire from fans for putting another picture of marijuana on her Instagram account.

“This nug look like a skull or am I just….?” Rihanna captioned the latest in a long line of pot-themed posts. Some of her detractors are afraid that these pictures give a bad impression to her young fans. That’s assuming the live-tweets from a strip club didn’t do that already. “Wow wat a good influence you are on young girls….not” wrote one commenter. “I dont understand what she tryin to prove through pics of drug everyday,” said another.

This comes on the heels of Rihanna’s latest uproar, where a picture of a thug grandma and a rifle-toting model led some to wonder if Rihanna was glorifying guns.

Abigail Barwuah, Balotelli’s biological sister is pregnant and the father is said to be Nigeria and Levante Striker Obafemi Martins.

Mancini and Mario Balotelli's Training Ground Brawl

Well in another episode of the Soap Opera which is the Roberto Mancini and Mario Balotelli relationship, Balotelli is understood to have angered Mancini with a late challenge on team-mate Scott Sinclair at the club's Carrington base.

The 48-year-old confronted the centre-forward and the pair had to be separated by staff before Balotelli left Carrington shortly after.

Balotelli has been involved in altercations at the club's training ground before, having previously been photographed clashing with Micah Richards.

The striker has been linked with a potential January exit from Manchester City, with AC Milan rumoured to be interested in making a bid.

Until now, Mancini one of the controversial star's staunchest defenders has insisted the 22-year-old would not be sold. I wonder what Mancini will say after today's incident..... hmmmm.
